Setting up the Displays

I got into work the other day and learned that I had to set up some new displays. We were getting brand-new shipments in of Apple iPad accessories, so my managers informed me that they needed to be properly showcased. The things I was going to be setting up were going to be featured at the front of the store, so I needed to break out the big guns, so to speak. I ended up using a lot of colorful banners and other eye-catching designs to create a wonderful tableau of all of our cute iPhone 4 cases.

As soon as I finished I gave my managers a call and told them that all I needed was their final approval to sign off on this assignment. They were busy in a meeting at the moment but assured me that they would be down right after they were finished. As soon as they saw the displays they were incredibly happy and told me what a good job I did. But they had to discuss a couple of last-minute details, and when they got back to me they told me that they wanted me to incorporate the new iPad 2 skins into the display. This wasn’t all that difficult because I had plenty of negative space, so within 15 minutes I had reworked the design to their approval.
